So, I was in a bit of a drawing slump for a while due to some stress and depression. Someone told me to try something different, so on Saturday I decided to break out my charcoal and drawing paper and draw a picture of Yoko from Gurren Lagann rather than draw digitally. I think it turned out great and I had a lot of fun drawing it ^^ So I think I'll make this a weekly thing! Every Friday or Saturday I'll draw some traditional fan art through Sunday and put it up for sale. This way I'll consistently have new art to show you all, get my practice in, and maybe generate a small amount of money for more supplies. I'm thinking about breaking out my watercolor and colored pencils and making colored pictures too. These would be much smaller (around 11x14?) but I think it would be fun too.
This does not mean I'm giving up on digital works. I feel like I need to switch every now and then to keep my interests up and it's great practice. I feel like there's also some people out there who really like buying traditional works too. I still may open up for commissions soon and may make a few adoptables. So I hope you all look forward to those! Let me know what you all think. I enjoy getting feedback from you all ^^
